Don't get me wrong. I do regret a ton of things. My actions, my words...I should have thought about it more before I did those. Sometimes I even regret getting to know you this well. But I will never, ever regret having you in my life. You caused me guilt, confusion, anger - but thinking about it now, it truly was worth it.
“No matter how thick skinned we try to be, there’s millions of electrifying nerve endings in there, open and exposed and feeling way too much. Try as we might to keep from feeling pain, sometimes it’s just unavoidable. Sometimes that’s the only thing left… just feeling.”—Meredith Grey (via julie911) (via quote-book)
Some people are easy to get over; they only take a week or two. But sooner or later, you'll find the one, the one who has changed so much of your life, and no matter how hard you try, you can't find the words to say goodbye.
“I’m ready to smile, move on, and never look back. The memories will forever be held in my heart, but I’m tired of trying so hard to hold onto everything. I’m ready for whatever comes my way.”—(via kidlovesdoodles)
“Haven’t you ever known someone rejected by a lover, who, consumed by rage and jealousy, never lets go? They look on from a distance, unseen but boiling inside. The emotion never seems to tire, this hatred mixed with intense obsession, even with a kind of twisted love.”— Scott Westerfeld |Submitted by: kate-kate-kate (via quote-book)
“Sometimes, people really do feel like they don’t want to exist, like they want to curl up in a ball and hide from everyone else. They feel like life is caving in on them and they want to just go somewhere else and not feel anything at all. And I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. And if you don’t know how it feels to feel this way, then you have no place to judge anyone who does.”—(via fashionfever) (via kidlovesdoodles)
“I’m just fine with who I am. I may not be the smartest or the most attractive person but I’m happy with the path I’m taking and I’m just fine with not having to step on others to achieve happiness.”—Jeremy McCormick (via kidlovesdoodles)
We both stopped talking to each other because we misunderstood each other. I thought you stopped talk to me because I told you I liked you and you started to ignore me. You thought I stopped talking to you ever since Track season started for you. Well, whatever the reason was, we stopped talking to each other. But, I’m glad you IMed me and we kinda talked it out. At least now I know. I just wished I had asked you sooner.
“It’s a common belief that positive thinking leads to a happier healthier life. As children we are told to smile, be cheerful, and put on a happy face. As adults we are told to look on the bright side, to make lemonade, and see glasses as half full. Sometimes reality can get in the way of our ability to act the happy part though. Your hope can fail, boyfriends can cheat, friends can disappoint. It’s in these moments, when you just want to get real, drop the act, and be your true scared unhappy self.”—Grey’s Anatomy (via kidlovesdoodles)
You are not a challenge that I am going to overcome and then move on from. You are a person. A human being. Someone who has the potential to become great. All I want is to be there but you have to let me in. This isn’t a game. It is about life filled with friendships and love. Something that I can…
You’re graduating soon and I don’t want you to leave yet. We never got to resolve what happened back in December. So, I decided, I’m going to call you tomorrow. Hopefully, things will work out. I just need that closure before you leave. You’re one of the greatest people I ever met, even if you always made fun of me. I really am going to miss you. I don’t care if you forget me, I’m just glad that I had the chance to walk into your life. And, I’m glad you walked into mine. I just want you to know I am most definitely grateful that you IMed me that one night. ♥
“The ones we love tend to stay in our hearts and minds long after the relationship ends. While some move on quickly, others dwell and heal at a slower pace. Whatever the case, the thoughts, emotions and memories we experience during this time are heartwrenchingly powerful and real.”—
