When I graduate from high school,
the person that I absolutely want to be there to see me receive my diploma is my dad. I want to show him how much I’ve accomplished without him in my life. I want to see the look on his face when he realizes that it was his fault that he wasn’t there for me when I needed him.
The thing that probably hurts me most is that you hear me, but you’re not even listening to what I have to say.
I hate it when you ignore me because that just makes me realize how far we’ve grown apart.
